X-Files (The)

A pair of original identification badges used in the production of The X-Files, the long running science fiction drama series starring David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson.

These badges were custom made by the production and used by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) respectively. The badges each feature the FBI logo with photographs and signature above presented in plastic badge holders with clips used to attach to costume, the Mulder badge is entirely laminated while the Scully is not, this possibly pointing to them being created for differing seasons of the show. Please note that these identification badges feature genuine photographs which have been hand cut and applied to the cards consistent with screen used badges, they are not printed. This pairing represents a rare genuine example of these props which have become more and more replicated in recent times.

The badges each measure approximately 5" x 3" and remain in excellent production used condition with some fading to the hand inscribed Scully signature, overall very fine.
