Pig reference head
An original prop used in the production of Willow, the 1988 fantasy picture starring Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer under the direction of Ron Howard.
This is an original reference head created during the production process relating to the pig transformation sequence which was achieved practically by the use of prosthetics with bladders below. This reference head is cast in fibreglass and represents a cross between a pig and human, the head is expertly painted and dressed with straw hair and would have been used during the production as the art and effects departments worked on the look and mechanics of the transformations.
The head stands an impressive 15" high and measures approximately 18" wide, it remains in excellent condition with only very minor paint wear, extremely fine.
A highly displayable artefact from this cult fantasy classic.
