Aliens

An original costume element from the production of Aliens, the second instalment in the popular Alien franchise directed by James Cameron.

This collar section originally formed part of the armour worn by the United States Colonial Marines throughout the movie. Designed by James Cameron and constructed by noted film armourer Terry English the collar is expertly fabricated in aluminium and hand painted with a camouflage design, to the rear the armour section features the remains of green foam padding. This section was ultimately removed from the marines armour at the request of the sound recordist as they were too noisy on set and retained by Terry English following filming.

The armour section measures approximately 8" x 3" and remains in good production used condition with some scratching to the hand painted finish.
