Thomas and Friends

An original prop used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

From the series nine episode Thomas and the Toy shop signs such as this can be seen used on the toy shop and at the toy factory, the two signs are distinguishable by a different colour border with this being the one used on screen at the factory as Thomas collects his load. The sign is constructed from perspex with a colourful printed image showing various different toys, to the rear the remains of black tak are still visible where it was attached to each of the three posts for filming.

The sign measures approximately 7" wide and remains in excellent screen used condition, very fine.
