Thomas and Friends

An original prop used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

From the series eleven episode Thomas and the Lighthouse signs such as this can be seen used prominently on the firework vans hauled by James. Constructed from printed paper adhered to a plastic backing the sign features a colourful rocket style firework with evidence of blacktack putty to the verso which would have been used to secure it for filming.

The sign measures approximately 2.5" at its widest point and remains in excellent screen used condition, very fine.
