Thomas and Friends

An original prop from in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

From the eighth series episode Thomas and the Circus vans similar to this can be seen hauled as part of the circus train carried on top of plank trucks and in Brenham Docks as they are craned around. The van is constructed from resin panels with a brass roof painted black, the body of the truck features a colourful hand painted design and printed circus signs backed with plastic applied to both sides, the underside is unfinished with a hole to the centre, consistent with the one seen lifted by the crane at the docks.

The truck measures an impressive 7.5" long and stands over 3" high, it remains in excellent condition with only minimal paint wear.

A rare and highly displayable artefact from this popular children's television series.
