Thomas and Friends

An original prop used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

From the series eight episode Thomas and the Circus signs such as this can be seen used prominently on waals and bridges to promote the circus. Constructed from printed paper adhered to a cardboard backing the sign features a clown face and retains blacktak marks to the verso where it was used during filming.

The sign measures just over 2" wide and remains in excellent screen used condition, very fine.
