Thomas and Friends

An original face appliance used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

This is one of the original face appliances for Percy, the green saddle tank engine. Constructed from high quality resin the face features a cross expression with a grey finish and hand painted eyebrows, it is hand inscribed to the rear 'PERCY' with multiple numbers. Remnants of blacktack remain present from attaching it to the engine model, accompanied by its original production bag which is inscribed 'PERCY 7'' in marker pen.

This is an original face dating back to the very first series in 1984 and is constructed with a grey resin compound, this would have undergone refurbishment throughout the various series and been used extensively, the paint finish he sports today dates nicely and can be conclusively screen matched to series eight, nine and ten in addition to the feature special Calling All Engines. Exceptional.

The face appliance measures approximately 1.75" in diameter and remains in near perfect original condition, a fine example.
