Thomas and Friends

An original face appliance used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

This is one of the original face appliances for Gordon, the large blue engine. Constructed from high quality resin the face features a grey finish with hand painted eyebrows, it is hand inscribed to the rear 'GORDON 14' and accompanied by an original production bag which is similarly inscribed in marker pen but worn. A well used expression this exact face can be conclusively screen matched to shots in the later model series.

The face appliance measures approximately 2.5" in diameter and remains in near perfect original condition, a very fine example.
