Thomas and Friends

An original face appliance used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

This is one of the original face appliances for Emily, the emerald tender engine. Constructed from high quality resin the face features a grey finish with hand painted eyebrows, it is hand inscribed to the rear 'EM 9' with 'CROSS' written below in differing pen and accompanied by its original production bag which is similarly inscribed 'EMILY 9' in marker pen.

An exceptionally well used expression with blacktak residue present to the rear this exact face can be conclusively screen matched to multiple episodes across multiple series of the show starting in series eight and used throughout to the end of the model era, this represents a rare example of a face with significant screen use across multiple series, exceptionally fine.

The face appliance measures approximately 1.5" in diameter and remains in near perfect original condition, a fine example.
