Thomas and Friends

An original face appliance used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

This is one of the original face appliances for Diesel, the first engine of his kind on Sodor. Constructed from high quality resin the face features a grey finish with hand painted eyebrows, it is hand inscribed to the rear 'DIESEL 8' in pen and accompanied by its original production bag which is similarly inscribed in marker pen. 

The face appliance measures approximately 2.25" x 2" and sadly features missing paint to the mouth area where it has failed to adhere to the resin correctly and subsequently chipped off, otherwise fine.

A highly displayable artefact from this popular children's television series.
