Thomas and Friends

An original face appliance used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

This is one of the original face appliances for Diesel, the first engine of his kind on Sodor. Constructed from high quality resin the face features a smiling expression with a grey finish and hand painted eyebrows, it is hand inscribed with the number 2 to the rear in pen and accompanied by its original production bag which is similarly inscribed 'DIESEL 2' in marker pen. This expression was used in Calling All Engines and the mouth was later changed during the production of series 12.

The face appliance measures approximately 2.25" x 2" and remains in near perfect original condition, extremely fine.
