Lady in the Van (The)

An original clapperboard used in the production of The Lady in the Van, the 2015 drama from the pen of Alan Bennett starring Maggie Smith and Alex Jennings.

This original production used clapperboard is constructed from semi translucent perspex with an affixed wooden clap stick and features the movie title "THE LADY IN THE VAN" in black lettering. The board features features spaces to record the scene, roll, slate and take numbers with the names of director Nicholas Hynter and cinematographer Andrew Dunn below. The clapperboard board retains its original markings from its last use including the date 12/11/14 from the final stages of production.

The clapperboard measures approximately 11" x 9" and remains in excellent condition with minor expected wear from use during the production.
