Frankenweenie

An original prop from the production of Frankenweenie, the 2012 stop-motion comedy horror directed by Tim Burton.

This maquette is one of just 300 created by master puppet makers Mackinnon & Saunders and distributed to crew members. The maquette of Sparky the dog is cast from a production mould in solid resin with a expertly airbrushed paint finish, Sparky sits atop a base of resin sculpted to appear wooden and is etched to the underside as being number 45 of 300 in addition to a Disney copyright sticker.

Sparky sits an impressive 5" high and remains in near perfect original condition, extremely fine.

A rare and highly displayable artefact from this well received Academy Award nominated picture.
