Scream 4

An original costume from the production of Scream 4, the 2011 slasher picture directed by Wes Craven.

This Ghostface mask was one of a batch supplied to the production by manufacturers Fun World for use in reshoots, these masks of better construction than the commercially available ones with better paint finishes, from this batch several were selected by Craven for use during filming with this example remaining unused.

The rubber mask features the now iconic design based on Edvard Munch's The Scream with an elasticated strap and black material below, an additional piece of black material can be placed over the head of the mask to help complete the look although this was never permanently attached and remains loose.

The mask remains in near perfect condition throughout, extremely fine.

An instantly recognisable and displayable artefact from this classic slasher franchise.
