Highlander

An original prop from the production of Highlander, the 1986 fantasy picture starring Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery and Clancy Brown.

This guard was custom made by the production during the creation of the katana sword used by Sean Connery as Ramirez as he trains Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) to face The Kurgan (Clancy Brown). Cast in metal and finished in metallic gold paint the guard features various cut outs with the central one being the housing for the blade, this earlier version of the guard differs slightly from the one seen on screen but remains generally very similar in design.

The guard measures approximately 3.5" in diameter and remains in very good production made condition exhibiting some minor paint wear, otherwise fine.

A rare and affordable artefact from this highly regarded cult picture.
