Doctor Who

An original costume used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

This costume was worn on screen by Honor Blackman as Professor Lasky in the 1986 Trial of a Time Lord adventure The Terror of the Vervoids starring Colin Baker as The Doctor. The costume consists of a one piece jumpsuit with attached cape and skirt section, it was bespoke made for Blackman by the BBC costume department. The costume retains a Bonhams tag from the 1991 Doctor Who auction where it was sold by the BBC as lot 108.

In excellent screen used condition with just some minor holes to the top of the shoulder, there are no labels or sizing information. Very fine throughout.

An exceptionally rare example of a principal character costume worn by one of the biggest female stars ever to grace this much loved science fiction series.
