Description

An original storyboard used in the production of the 1977 science fiction picture Star Wars, the first instalment in the classic franchise directed by George Lucas.

From the exciting sequence where the Millennium Falcon comes under fire after escaping the Death Star and Luke and Han take to the Falcon main guns to fend them off this storyboard is a production issued copy of the original drawing by Gary Myers and depicts Chewbacca in the Falcon cockpit. Various details relating to the shot are present with a description of the action taking place, utilised at Industrial Light & Magic during production of the Academy Award winning visual effects sequences.

The board measures 8.5" x 11" and remains in excellent production used condition with three punch holes for binder use, very fine.

A fine example of an original storyboard from one of the most influential and highly regarded franchises in cinematic history.
