Doctor Who

An original concept design used in the production of the long running BBC science fiction television series Doctor Who.

From the 1984 serial Frontios starring Peter Davison as The Doctor this is a production used copy of the original concept design artwork created by BBC Visual Effects designer Dave Havard for the excavation machine which features throughout the story. Printed on white paper the concept features an early design of the machine with some differences to the final prop the building of which was outsourced to freelance contractors Any Effects.

The concept measures approximately 11.5" x 8" and remains in good vintage production used condition exhibiting some edge wear, toning and creasing to one side.
