NeverEnding Story (The)

An original reference image used during the production of The NeverEnding Story, the 1984 fantasy epic directed by Wolfgang Petersen.

This photograph is a VistaVision frame blow up used during the production for camera reference by the motion control unit when filming plates. Printed on glossy photographic stock the image shows Noah Hathaway as Atreyu riding Falkor the Luck Dragon against bluescreen and is inscribed with a code to the bottom, this footage was then composited with background plates to create the final sequences.

The photograph measures 8" x 10" and remains in excellent vintage condition, overall fine.
