Goonies (The)

An original prop used in the production of The Goonies, the 1985 adventure picture directed by Richard Donner.

This gold coin formed part of One-Eyed Willy's extensive treasure haul which is sought by the Goonies. The coin is constructed from metal with a gold finish and is essentially a casting of a genuine Spanish gold escudo, or doubloon, from the 18th century. The remains of tape is present to one side where the coin was fixed on set.

The coin measures approximately 1.25" in diameter and remains in excellent production used condition, overall fine.

A rare and displayable artefact from the production of this highly regarded cult classic.
