Captain America: The First Avenger

An original comic book used in the production of Captain America: The First Avenger, the 2001 superhero picture directed by Joe Johnston.

This comic book was custom printed for the production and is intended to be a reproduction of the original Captain America comic published in 1941. Two variations of comic were created by the production, the majority with blank interiors and others featuring content which were likely produced in lesser numbers, this is the latter comprising of 62 pages featuring full colour comic artwork of the period bound with a cover printed on glossy paper stock. The cover of the comic bears some differences from the original, notably the omission of the month of issue and that of Bucky from the bottom right corner.

The comic book measures approximately 7.25" x 10.25" and remains in excellent production used condition throughout with only minor bumping to the corners, very fine.

A highly displayable and instantly recognisable artefact from this superhero blockbuster.
