Thomas and Friends

An original prop used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

From the series six episode Percy's Chocolate Crunch signs such as this can be seen used prominently on the Mr Jolly's Chocolate Factory building and also on the side of trucks and wagons. Constructed from printed paper adhered to a plastic backing the sign features Mr Jolly's face and retains marks to the verso where blacktack was used to attach it to a truck or wagon for filming.

The sign measures just over 2" wide and remains in excellent screen used condition, very fine.
