Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! (The)

An original miniature used in the production of the 2012 Aardman Animations produced comedy film The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists!

This miniature oven is constructed from wood with the cooking plates to top and oven doors to the sides cast in resin with all on the control knobs being fully poseable. The miniature is painted to a high standard and is an incredibly decorative piece which measures an impressive 22" long, 9" wide and stands 5.5" high. The prop remains in excellent screen used condition with some minor paint wear in areas and missing two of the incredibly delicate rails to one side, the rest having been previously repaired. The top hot plate also exhibits glue residue where a miniature would have been affixed on set.

A highly displayable and well crafted miniature artefact from this Academy Award nominated and well received Aardman picture.
