Corpse Bride

An original prop from the production of Corpse Bride, the 2005 stop-motion animation fantasy picture directed by Tim Burton.

The puppet head skin for the character of Maggot was created by master puppet makers Mackinnon & Saunders during the production. Constructed from cream silicone the skins eyes and mouth have been trimmed out with an opening cut to the rear allowing it to be mounted on a head form, this would have been created to test the paint finish for the puppet but ultimately remained unpainted.

The head measures approximately 5" and remains in excellent production made condition, overall fine.

A displayable artefact from this well received stop-motion animation favourite.
