River (The)

An original prop used in the production of The River, the 1984 drama picture starring Mel Gibson and Sissy Spacek.

Licence plates such as these can be seen on several vehicles, constructed from metal with an enamel style finish the plate features the registration 7058Y9 and applied stickers for Tennessee and the date Jan 84 in green.

The plate measures approximately 12" x 6" and remains in excellent production used condition with only minor surface wear, overall fine.

A rare and affordable artefact from this Academy Award winning production.
