Thomas and Friends

An original prop used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

From the Jack and the Sodor Construction Company episode Percy Helps Out, although almost certainly used elsewhere, this level crossing road sign can be seen in behind the scenes photographs at Maithwaite crossing where Thomas derails. Constructed from plastic the miniature road sign features a hand applied barrier image achieved in black tape and is hand painted like a genuine sign.

The sign stands an impressive 7" high and remains in excellent production used condition, very fine
