Thomas and Friends

An original miniature used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

Large scale miniatures such as this can be seen used in close-up shots throughout the series. Expertly constructed from resin this impressive railway workman miniature is finely detailed and features a hand painted costume with poseable arms attached via a ball and socket system and designed to hold his accompanying jackhammer tool, the separate head designed to be stuck in place using blacktak to make it interchangeable. The right foot features the number 264 to the sole as seen featured on contact sheets for series nine.

The miniature stands an impressive 12" high and remains in excellent production used condition with some paint wear to the upper legs, otherwise fine.
