Large scale workman miniature figure
An original miniature used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.
Large scale miniatures such as this can be seen used in close-up shots throughout the series. Expertly constructed from resin this impressive railway workman miniature is finely detailed and features a hand painted costume with poseable arms attached via a ball and socket system, the separate head would be stuck in place using blacktak for filming making the parts of the figures interchangeable, both head and body retaining black residue from use on screen, the left foot features the number 14 to the sole. This distinctive head can conclusively screen matched to both the series ten episode Which Way Now? and Calling All Engines.
The miniature stands an impressive 12" high and remains in excellent screen used condition with minimal paint wear, extremely fine.
An instantly recognisable and highly displayable example of a large scale miniature from this popular children's television series.
