Thomas and Friends

An original prop from the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

This original number decal was created by the production for use on the larger gauge 3.5 model of Thomas which was built circa 1996 for use in a potential feature length production, only Thomas and Percy were built in this scale. The decal is printed on two part media of paper and plastic, likely a waterslide transfer, the number is yellow with a red border. These large scale engines would go on to be used on screen in the main series and later features such as The Great Discovery and Jack and the Sodor Construction Company.

The decal itself measures an impressive 1.5" high, it remains in excellent unused condition, extremely fine.
