Terminator (The)

An original prop from the production of the classic 1984 science fiction action classic The Terminator directed by James Cameron.

This magnetic seal was used on one of the Los Angeles Police Department cars seen giving chase in the scenes where Sarah Conner and Kyle Reese are pursued by The Terminator. The seal is custom printed on paper and affixed to a magnetic backing in order to attach to the cars door for filming, these additions to the cars are very obvious on screen.

The seal remains in good used condition with some discolouration, largely due to the glue used to affix it to the magnet drying out which has resulted in the paper and magnet sections largely detaching, this could be very easily re glued if preferred. There is also some tape to the magnetic side for extra adhesion, possibly owing to the magnets grip being insufficient for vigorous filming requirements. The seal measures 8" in diameter.
