James Bond (Sean Connery) original camera negative
An original camera negative from the production of Dr. No, the first picture in the James Bond franchise starring Sean Connery as the suave spy.
This medium format black and white Kodak negative is a camera original shot during the production of the movie. This image was likely taken by stills photographer Burt Cann and shows Sean Connery as James Bond in the famous casino sequence where he plays baccarat with Sylvia Trench (Eunice Gayson) and utters the now iconic line "Bond, James Bond" as he first introduces himself, hand inscribed with the production number 2159 to the bottom in black ink.
The image area of the negative measures 2.25" square and it remains in excellent vintage condition, very fine.
An exceptionally rare example of original production material from the first film of this celebrated franchise.
