Raging Bull

An original ticket from the production of Raging Bull, the 1980 biographical sporting drama starring Robert De Niro as Jake LaMotta under the direction of Martin Scorsese.

This mould was created during the production by Academy Award winning make-up effects designer Michael Westmore as he designed and created the prosthetic nose appliances worn on screen by Robert De Niro as boxer Jake LaMotta. Westmore took moulds from LaMotta himself who acted as a consultant on the movie working closely with De Niro, constructed from high quality resin the two part mould features locators ensuring it sits correctly and is hand inscribed 'FLAT NOSE', all of the prosthetics worn on screen by De Niro would have been pulled from this very mould.

The piece measures approximately 5" x 4" x 2" and remains in good production used condition with some chipping not affecting the nose itself, generally fine.

A unique and interesting artefact from the production of this highly regarded classic which saw Robert De Niro win the Academy Award for Best Actor.
