Production used clapperboard
An original clapperboard used in the production of How to Get Ahead in Advertising, the 1989 black comedy directed by Bruce Robinson.
This production used traditional style black wooden clapperboard with hinged clap stick bears the movie title in white lettering in addition to the names of director Bruce Robinson and cinematographer Peter Hannan. The clapperboard has spaces where the slate number, take number and date could be marked for reference during the production and exhibits hand inscribed tape and signs of chalk residue, notably to the verso.
The clapperboard measures approximately 15" x 14" and remains in excellent production used condition with minor wear, overall fine.
A very rare example of original production material from this well received picture.
