Poltergeist

An original concept artwork used in the production of Poltergeist, the 1982 supernatural horror produced by Steven Spielberg.

This hand drawn concept artwork was created at premier effects house Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) during the production of the films Academy Award nominated visual effects work. Accomplished in marker pen this concept was created by chief model maker Paul Huston alongside effects art director Nilo Rodis-Jamero as they redesigned the ghost following Steven Spielberg disapproving of the original shot, Huston went on to build the head and operate it during filming.

The artwork measures approximately 5.5" x 4.5" and remains in excellent production used condition, extremely fine.

A very rare and displayable example of original production artwork from this classic of the horror genre.
