Fantastic Mr. Fox

An original prop used in the production of Fantastic Mr. Fox, the 2009 stop motion animated comedy directed by Wes Anderson.

This maquette was created by master puppet makers Mackinnon & Saunders who were responsible for fabricating the original puppets. This head bust of Michael Gambon voiced antagonist Franklin Bean is moulded in solid silicone and would have been created for use as a paint test being of the same material as the head skins created for the screen used puppets.

The maquette stands an impressive 6.5" high and remains in excellent production made condition, very fine.

An extremely rare and highly displayable artefact from this well received Academy Award nominated picture.
