Apocalypse Now

An original prop from the production of Apocalypse Now, the 1979 war epic directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

This decal was custom made by the production likely for use on an ammunition cases or vehicles. The printed self adhesive decal reads 'EXPLOSIVES, KEEP FIRE AWAY' with some blurb below seemingly relating to the movement of explosives on trains although this is likely due to the property department having copied a found warning sign.

The decal measures approximately 8" x 6" and remains in very good unused condition, still attached to the backing with minor edge wear present.

A rare and affordable artefact from this Academy Award winning epic which is frequently regarded as one of the greatest films in the history of cinema.
