Thomas and Friends

An original remote used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

This is one of the original remote controls used during filming to operate Donald, the tender engine who debuted in series two. The MacGregor JR Propo branded remote features various controls with a display screen to the bottom and has various tapes applied, two printed 'DONALD' and a further tape applied which is hand inscribed 'MADGE EYES' indicating this remote also doubled as Madge's eye control by later series.

The remote measures approximately 9" x 7.5" and remains in very good production used condition with expected surface wear, battery pack not included, overall fine.
