Skeleton stand in puppet head
An original prop used in the production of Corpse Bride, the 2005 stop motion animation fantasy picture directed by Tim Burton.
This is an original skeleton puppet head used on one of the stand in puppets utilised during the production for lighting and camera set up to avoid using the more delicate hero stop motion puppets. Built for the production by puppet specialists Mackinnon & Saunders the skeleton is constructed from high quality resin with a weathered paint finish and a square metal bar glued to the underside used to locate it on a puppet body.
The head measures approximately 2" wide and remains in excellent production used condition lacking the lower jaw, overall very fine.
A highly displayable artefact from this well received stop motion animation favourite.
