Christine Glanville autographed vintage publicity still
An original publicity still from the production of Four Feather Falls, the 1960 puppet television series created by Gerry Anderson.
This vintage original black and white still was issued by Granada Television to promote the series, the still shows Sheriff Tex Tucker puppet being operated by noted puppeteer Christine Glanville who would go on to work on every Gerry Anderson puppet series and was responsible for creating some of his most famous characters. The still features a Granada Television ink stamp to the verso with a tipped paper snipe describing the photograph which has been hand inscribed with the date 1959, other inscriptions relate to its reproduction in publications. The still has been hand signed in black pen by Glanville who passed away in 1999.
The still measures 8.5" x 6.5" and remains in very good vintage and untrimmed condition with some minor surface wear.
A rare and highly displayable still from this early Anderson series.
