An original prop used in the production of Chicken Run, the 2000 stop motion animation comedy produced by Aardman Animations.

This miniature was created for the scene where Mr Tweedy takes delivery of the pie making machine and it arrives in wooden crates. The highly detailed miniature is constructed from balsa wood around a block of high density foam, each wooden panel has been individually cut and fixed to the interior block before being hand painted and weathered. The crate features numerous stamps including a 'SP-79T' product code and 'THIS WAY UP' with arrows in addition to a paper quality inspection label to the side, to the base the miniature features some glue residue used to fix it on set.

The crate measures approximately 4" x 2.5" x 2" and remains in excellent production used condition with some paint wear.
