Borrowers (The)

An original prop used in the production of The Borrowers, the 1997 family comedy starring John Goodman and Jim Broadbent.

Oversized props such as this were custom made by the production to create the illusion that the borrowers are small can be seen used in the climactic scenes of the movie as the borrowers celebrate their victory over Ocious P Potter (John Goodman). The fountain pen is constructed from plastic pipe finished in pink paint and features a plastic nib with a faux metallic finish and a small length of rope around the grip. 

The pen measures an impressive 70" long and is in very good screen used condition with some wear from use during the production including paint wear and scratching.

An affordable and highly displayable artefact from this well received family movie.
