Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans

An original clapperboard used in the production of Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, the 2009 crime drama starring Nicholas Cage under the direction of Werner Herzog.

This production used B camera clapperboard is constructed from translucent perspex with an affixed wooden clap stick and features the name of the production 'BAD LIEUTENANT' on reverse sticker. The board also bears the names of director Werner Herzog and cinematographer Peter Zeitlinger with spaces to record the roll, scene and take details which remain partially present along with the date from its last used during filming. To the back the board features a hand inscribed and signed note by camera loader Jonathan E. Robinson regarding the provenance.

The clapperboard measures approximately 11" x 9.5" and remains in excellent condition with only minor edge and surface wear from use during the production.
