Boxtrolls (The)

An original prop used in the production of The Boxtrolls, the 2014 stop-motion animation fantasy comedy produced by Laika Studios.

This face appliance was custom fabricated by Laika Studios for use on the stop-motion animation puppet for the character of Archibald Snatcher, the exterminating antagonist voiced by Ben Kingsley. Constructed from 3D printed filament the appliance features a long nose and toothy grin with an airbrushed paint finish, to the rear five magnets are present which could be used to attach the face to the puppet and some hand inscribed annotations are present noting the quality of the finish.

The appliance measures approximately 2.25" x 1.5" and remains in excellent production used condition with no visible damage, extremely fine.

A highly displayable artefact from this well received Academy Award nominee.
