Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons

An original photograph from the production of Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons, the 1967 Supermarionation television series created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson.

This vintage original studio Polaroid photograph shows the detail of a large scale Angel Interceptor filming miniature, stamped 'REFERENCE ONLY' in pink ink below.  To the verso the photograph features the Polaroid manufacturing code 'H604F2B' which dates this film to August 1966, indicating this photograph was taken in late 1966 during pre-production of the series, it is believed this was taken as reference to aid in the construction of the large puppet scale cockpit.

The Polaroid measures approximately 7" x 4.24", it remains in excellent vintage condition, untrimmed with complete wings, overall very fine.

A very rare example of original production material from this highly regarded Anderson production.
