Thomas and Friends

An original prop used in the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

From the series six episode Thomas, Percy and the Squeak this is an original poster advertising the concert to be performed by famous Italian opera singer Allicia Botti. The custom printed orange poster features a large image of Botti with text above and below, this is backed on to cardboard and then on to a piece of paper to create a white border, interestingly this is a partial page of a shooting schedule which actually references the filming of this episode and indeed the poster itself! To the verso there is evidence of blacktack to each corner which was used to attach it on set.

The poster measures approximately 6.25" x 4.5" and remains in excellent screen used condition with some peeling to the various layers but generally very fine.

A highly displayable artefact from popular children's television series.
