Aliens

An original storyboard prop in the production of Aliens, the second instalment in the popular Alien franchise directed by James Cameron.

This original alien tail is constructed from moulded foam with a painted finish and features a number of vertebrae becoming gradually smaller toward the tip. Throughout the length of the tail is thick steel cord with a loop to both ends which would allow it to be posed as required for specific shots and also support weight.

The tail measures approximately 52" long and remains in good production used condition naturally resting in a curved shape from storage, the foam in overall very good condition exhibiting some wear and paint loss.
