Alexander

An original clapperboard used in the production of Alexander, the 2004 historical epic directed by Oliver Stone.

This original production used clapperboard with hinged clap stick bears the title of the movie 'ALEXANDER' in addition to the names of director Oliver Stone and cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto. The main unit A camera clapperboard has spaces where the slate, take and scene number could be recorded and retains the hand inscribed date 24th October 2003 from its final use during the production along with other markings.

The clapperboard measures approximately 11" x 9.5" and remains in very good condition exhibiting surface wear consistent with use during the production, overall fine.
