True Romance

Alabama Whitman (Patricia Arquette) Swiss Army knife

Sold

Description

An original prop used in the production of True Romance, the 1993 crime picture penned by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott.

This Swiss Army knife is one of several obtained by the production for use in the memorable sequence where Alabama Whitman (Patricia Arquette) is beaten by Virgil (James Gandolfini), using this to defend herself before ultimately killing him. The Victorinox branded multi-function tool features a number of attachments with the corkscrew  having been welded in the open position to ensure it did not move during filming, attached to this is a dinosaur keychain of rubber which is also seen prominently on screen. Both the knife and dinosaur still feature small traces of studio blood from used during the production.

The knife and dinosaur keychain measure approximately 3.5" and 5" respectively and remain in excellent production used condition with the former exhibiting some minor surface wear, generally fine.

A recognisable and highly displayable artefact from this highly regarded cult classic.
