An original document used in the production of Clash of the Titans, the 1981 fantasy classic starring Harry Hamlin and co-produced by stop motion animation legend Ray Harryhausen.

This initial production budget comprises of 47 pages bound between front and rear covers of red card with the front hand inscribed 'THE CLASH OF THE TITANS' and 'FIRST PRODUCTION BUDGET, SEPTEMBER 1978'. The budget is broken down in to various categories with figures for each expense noted, these covering every aspect of the production and totalling $8 million with the shooting start date noted as April 1979, at this early stage of pre-production the movie was to be distributed by Columbia Pictures who later dropped the project as it was too expensive. The budget is accompanied by a further document comprising of 10 staple bound pages of photocopied rough notes.

The budget measures approximately 12" x 8.5" and remains in very good production used condition exhibiting some minor edge and cover wear from handling.

A rare and interesting example of original production material from this classic picture which will surely forever remain a genre favourite.
